A Towson – Catonsville (MD) Alumni Kappa Charitable Foundation sponsored event
About this event
Please join us for a Night Under the Stars as we celebrate the grand reopening of the Lochearn Community Club (LCC). A Night Under the Stars as we reconnect and look to a new future. Through the efforts of its strong LCC members, alumni and friends, the Lochearn Community Club is reopening on May 28th for the 2022 summer season.
Built in 1958, one of the oldest pools in Baltimore County and one of the earliest pools in the county to integrate, Lochearn Community Club was devastated by a fire that destroyed the Bath House, the pool equipment, and the swim team’s equipment.
It’s going to be a Red and White affair produced by MD Ski Productions and the Towson – Catonsville Alumni Kappa Charitable Foundation (T-CKCF), in conjunction with the LCC Pool. The men of the Towson – Catonsville Alumni Kappa Charitable Foundation have invited the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., for a true Red and White night under the stars.
The night’s entertainment will include access to the Lochearn Community Club grounds and pool, swimming, food (appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, deserts), 50/50 raffle, DJ Music and live entertainment. Performing live will be Saxophonist Brian Lanier, who will set a smooth jazzy mood for all to enjoy.
There may be an appearance of “Ernie.” Ernie is the Lochearn Monster and is the mascot of the LCC Swim team. There will be entertainment for all at this family event.
